Oak Grove Cemetery

Oak-Grove-Cemetery2-webOak Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches dates back to the 1826 land grant of Emprasario Haden Edwards, the oldest dated grave goes back to 1837. This is one of several large trees that are on the property, it was a really interesting place to spend a Friday morning.

  1. Do Americans have an affinity to compare All things by numbers? Or size? Biggest, oldest, smartest? ๐Ÿ˜‰
If so, you should choose things to compare that are really impressing. Here in Europe has nearly each small town cemetery graves that are older…
    Grinning, ducking and running… ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Bryan, did you edit the photo to bring out the darker colors of the tree and have the background seem lighter, or was that the way it was? This is a beautiful photo
