Cash-Photography Assistant

A little humor for today. I’d like to introduce my photography assistant Cash. If you notice he is up on the roof top of my truck. I had plans of photographing the setting sun over the back pasture of where I live, but his keen eye said the light wasn’t right. He may get a get pay raise if his picture gets enough likes.

He has an interesting story; his mother had him and eight others under a friends storage shed. Momma carried him off after three days, my friend found him a day later and started bottle feeding him. I quickly fell for him, and as you can see he has done just fine. Since I’m a teacher I had my students name him, one of my students said ” you should name him Cash, after Johnny Cash, since he’s the man in black”. I figured that if an 8th grade student knows that much about Johnny Cash, then that should be his name.

  1. Hey, thanks for passing by and liking my post! I’ve been looking around your blog and I stopped here to tell you that I also have a dog assistant (well, actually two!)… and I’m also a teacher! Anyway, very beautiful photos and very beautiful dog!

  2. What a beautiful dog, and you have captured his soul so beautifully. Amazing image!! Your photography really is quite outstanding. You are one of those great photographers that I seek to emulate. The black and white images are especially atmospheric. They add a kind of magic to an already perfect portrayal. Bless you.
