B-17

B17-HDR

Tyler had a small airshow this weekend, so I went to check out the planes. This is one of the few B-17’s from World War II that is still flying. This is a HDR image, my first, I used Photomatrix Pro 4.2. There is some blur in the clouds due to high winds but overall I really like the image.

  1. This is very nicely done. These are perfect HDR subjects since they are going anywhere and can really benefit from that High Dynamic Range treatment. I have a similar photo that I took at the Experimental Aircraft Association Fly-in almost three years ago. It was my first HDR experiment and I was thrilled with how it worked. I’ll post it at points-of-view.com if you want to take a look.
