I was in Enchanted State Park back over the Thanksgiving holidays. The park is just outside of Fredricksburg Texas, which is a beautiful town. The park has large granite hills and boulders all over it, I will try to post a pic of them later. After walking around for awhile we were returning to our vehicle when I saw this old oak tree that was a victim of a severe drought that we’ve been having here in Texas over the last few years. This was shot around 1 o’clock so not the best light but got to make due while you can. I should probably run it through Lightroom and tone down the highlights, maybe later.
During the spring in this area, the Texas hill country, the land is covered in wildflowers, mainly bluebonnets and indian paint brushes. It’s also crawling with rattlesnakes, so be careful if you go.
