Fawn in Grass
I’ve hunted in one way or another since I was 6 years old. Either with a gun, bow or camera. These days I just shoot photos. In all of that time, 37 years worth of being outdoors I’ve come across 3 deer that were bedded. This wasn’t hunting season but during the summer when I was out looking for something to photograph, never expecting to find a fawn bedded in the grass.
I’m posting both the original color picture along with the black and white. Personally the black and white to me is more dramatic. I would like your opinions though, what do you think?

I personally like the black and white better because the creature is hidden in the contrast and it’ll take someone
a few seconds before seeing it. That’s the reward, the micro enlightening moments art can have in humans.
Also I’m sure there’s some creature out in the wild whose vision is similar this is image making him blend in…
I could just be making this up though… hehe.

I agree I like the black and white because you have to look closely
